3 new Leonardo mobility projects

Electronic Exchange with Malta. 10 students from the Department of Electricity, Controlling and Computer Technology in work placements and attend classes at the Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology.

International competence development for teachers. 22 guidance counselors and teachers from the construction department will learn about "best practice" at Reid Kerr College in Scotland, Castle College in England, Horizon College in Holland, MCAST in Malta, Jyväskylän College in Finland and Turku Vocational Institute also in Finland.

Chef-trainees crossing borders. 40 chef-trainees will get the opportunity to go to Nottingham in work placements in well renowned restaurants and hotel kitchens.

New Danida Fellowship course

After a few years' break ATC is now arranging a new Danida Fellowship course entitled Social Partnership for Business Development. The first three-week course will be held from 8 to 26 March 2010.

The learning objective of the course is to enable key staff from business sector organisations, such as employers' associations, trade unions and chambers of commerce to prepare social partnership initiatives within their own organisations and engage in social dialogue with their partners.

Support to VET system development in Bhutan

AARHUS TECH has been awarded a contract for consultancy to the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MoLHR) of Bhutan. The assignment is part of the Danida Support for Vocational Education and Training programme, which is Component 2 of the Danish Social Sector Programme Support (SSPS) to the Royal Government of Bhutan.
